Hey guys
Feb 8th is approaching, i dont know if it’s just me but people dont seem to be as nervous as previous times… i think maybe the exams weren’t as tough (except P2)
Anyway now that the answers are out lets predict our results to kill time
I did P5 – i expect anything between 45% and 65%
January 15, 2015 at 6:57 am #222678I’m not nervious, but it’s not because exams were not tough. It’s more the opposite; there is no need to loose sleep as I know I get something between 25-35 marks from each P4 and P5.
January 15, 2015 at 7:41 am #222683@kibalka, as of today, there are still 23 more days and 16 hours, 31 minutes and 24 seconds to results so that’s why people haven’t got into results mood as yet.
I am not so nervous as the papers may have already been marked by now and there is nothing we can do to change our destiny. So I’m using my time wisely. Planning to start studying P2 again as there is a more likely chance that I won’t clear it. It was horrible. So guys do something productive and kill the time.
January 15, 2015 at 8:38 am #222697Looking at those answers depresses me further since I don’t even remember what i wrote for P5. I hope for a pass anyway because am tired of this paper.
January 15, 2015 at 8:58 am #222698@Gabriel you’re right but still last session we started being nervous as early as July 5th, 33 days to results. Ask Mike Little, he was here trying to calm people down in that session.
@Seanan dont you worry we are in the same boat… Dec 2014 was my 4th attempt at P5 and am afraid maybe it wasnt my lastBy the way anyone notice anything strange about the status report??? Mine has been since yesterday
January 15, 2015 at 9:10 am #222699@Kibalka…Mine is giving a strange information that I got some options in Foundation Papers I need to complete which I don’t think is true. The last time i checked I had only P5 to complete.
January 15, 2015 at 9:36 am #222703January 15, 2015 at 9:38 am #222705@Saiyan2005….Thanks for that now I got the correct information but nearly collapsed when I saw the results only to realize it was for June 2014.

January 15, 2015 at 11:46 am #222712i think the results are currently being loaded because the status report has disappeared…. or is it just me????
January 15, 2015 at 12:02 pm #222714@kibalka my status report, the screen just says loading…. but nothing appears. I refreshed my page so many times but no result 🙁
Exam entry seems not to load too.
I don’t think results are uploaded this early. Maybe they are doing a general maintenance as it’s just 15.Jan. We yet have a long way too go.
January 15, 2015 at 12:05 pm #222715and even if they uploaded the results we can’t see it before 8th Feb so why bother?
January 15, 2015 at 12:16 pm #222717@Gabriel are u waiting for your final results, or you got other papers ahead?
I know P2 too well, you’ll be surprised that you have passed it even if u dont feel it.. thats how that paper is
when loading your status report, just be patient, all the other items will appear except the status itself
my exam entry works perfectly fine, my Dec docket is even clearer than ever lol!
meanwhile when i go to ‘exams’ i am given the option to edit the content
January 15, 2015 at 1:20 pm #222719@Kibalka…I can’t imagine trying to reading the P5 materials again after these numerous attempts because there is nothing new. And its really drawing me behind. So I hope and really hope I can make it this time round.
January 15, 2015 at 1:25 pm #222720@seanan if you are not successful to clear P5 this time round, why not consider changing your optional papers, maybe P7 or P6?
@Kibalka I had sat P1,P2 and P3 in Dec 2014 and I am planning to do P7 and P4 in June 2015 (but only if I pass the Dec exams) so I’m not a finalist like you 🙂Did you clear P2 first time? I seriously didn’t know anything in question two, and I feel that question will let me down. If I try to calculate my marks it’s something like 8/25 for that question!
January 15, 2015 at 1:27 pm #222721It’s just frustrating that all P papers are with Dec 2014 uploaded answers on the ACCA website, except P2
January 15, 2015 at 1:31 pm #222723@Gabriel…I have wanted to shift to another option paper but they are not what am interested in my career path. And I just don’t want to pass and finish ACCA for the sake of finishing. I want to finish with a purpose. So the merry go round continues….
January 15, 2015 at 2:34 pm #222727Nope i cleared P2 on 2nd attempt… i remember that exam was so damn hard!!!! i even started preparing for a 3rd retake bcoz i wa sure i’d fail… but wonder of wonders i scored 59%… for me i think P2 and P6 markers are usually linient
January 15, 2015 at 2:41 pm #222728@Kibalka your spot on in that people seem more at peace with the pressure this time around. To my knowledge the anticipation was intense last time around, even a month before the results.
Personally, I was more confident sitting P7 last time and am expectant that worst and hoping for the best (thanks to the 25mark Q2).
This was my 3rd attempt of P7 (having passed all the others 1st time), so I’ve come to the conclusions that P7 and I are incompatible.
Quick question……………………. how many attempts before you would opt for another paper?
If you’ve been down that route, share your experience.
January 15, 2015 at 4:46 pm #222735@abdul you passed P2 first time. So when you sat P2 did you think you would fail? How much did you score in P2? I think you need a good teacher for P7. Maybe because you self study you keep failing P7
January 15, 2015 at 4:48 pm #222736@kibalka I sat P2 for the first time in Dec and things aren’t looking good so I might have to re-sit
January 15, 2015 at 5:19 pm #222741@gabriel in all honesty I get the feeling that ACCA is bit like roulette….. I’ve not met a single person who hasn’t passed an exam they felt they had failed or vice versa.
In terms of P2….. I didn’t enjoy the consolidation aspect of the exam one bit, was underprepared and crammed for 2weeks…..::but somehow got 58%. How is beyond me.
My only guess is they are generous with marks as long as you have the workings and proforma laid out, because I didn’t reconcile one bit . Hopefully you should be fine as most ppl get through P2 in 1-2 attempts;))
January 15, 2015 at 5:30 pm #222742For all his faults the P2 marker is rather generous in his marking and you do get awarded marks for attempting even if not correct.
In addition if you look at the mark allocation for part one it is normally very generous with more marks available than you can actually score. Meaning even if you do not attempt certain parts you can still get high marks.
January 15, 2015 at 6:28 pm #222749@Abdul thank for your reply. Could you tell me in which exam session you passed P2? Was it in 2012 or 2011? Please let me know and it should have been a June sitting, I suspect
