Hi!,
I have passed P1 and P3 but now I am confused about that paper i should do in June. I am thinking of doing P2, P6 and P7 but cant decide which paper to do first…
Can anyone help?
Thanks!

If you were to do P7 before you did P2 then you might struggle slightly as you will be required to have a knowledge of the accounting standards examined at P2, some of which you will not have covered in F7.
You can take P2 in June but if you were to fail then you would need to sit under the new exam SBR, and this might be a challenge. If you are confident with P2 though, then I’d go for it, just be aware of the changes in exams from September 2018.
I can’t really comment on P6.
Thanks
March 5, 2018 at 7:15 am #440268Hi Sir,
I need an advice too. So im giving p2 tomorrow. For the june session I’m planning to give p4 and p7. But like the p2 changing to SBR in september, are the p4 and p7 exams changing too for the september exams, making them even more challening that they’re at present? Or will p4 and p7 remain the same ?
Thanks

Hi,
The changes are not happening to P4 and P7, plus hopefully you won’t need to worry about SBR as you’ll have passed P2.
ACCA are not making the exams any more or less challenging than they already are, it is just an evolution of the qualification to keep it relevant to today’s business world.
Thanks
