I would advise you to be aware of changes to syllabus and rate changes between years. Normally I would suggest that people update their study texts in subjects such as tax and financial reporting related subjects every year. However, this year there are fewer changes than normal. An important change is the introduction of professional marks being awarded at a higher level and in a different way from previous papers. I would hope the updated practice and revision kits would cover this in a significant way. For this reason I would strongly suggest you think about getting the new version of the practice and revision kit. If you look closely at other syllabus changes and changes to finance act, you might be fine with your existing study text.
