I have the Kaplan ATX uk apr 2022 – march 2023 study text and exam kit
Is there any point to buying a whole new study text and exam kit for the june 2023 exam????
I would advise you to be aware of changes to syllabus and rate changes between years. Normally I would suggest that people update their study texts in subjects such as tax and financial reporting related subjects every year. However, this year there are fewer changes than normal. An important change is the introduction of professional marks being awarded at a higher level and in a different way from previous papers. I would hope the updated practice and revision kits would cover this in a significant way. For this reason I would strongly suggest you think about getting the new version of the practice and revision kit. If you look closely at other syllabus changes and changes to finance act, you might be fine with your existing study text. Hi, I’m a person who has been self studying who is also working and hence, due to limited time available for studying, have been using OpenTuition notes and Kaplan practice kit for exam preparation and revision.
However, for ATX, OpenTuition does not have notes or any text and I would like to ask if I can use the Kaplan book (975+ pages) or if there is another source for getting a text material that is easier to follow for someone who self studies.
I’d really appreciate advice and suggestions.
