Thanks to Almighty Allah I received the pass. One hell of an exam it was!

Passed the exam, got 63? obviously overstudied a bit!! So happy, passed all exams now, going to take on CFA exams next. Lovely ppl, it doesn’t matter how many times we failed, what matters is we are tough enough to face it and conquer the failure! I passed all the professional exams at the first sitting, because I know I have no alternatives, push yourself to the edge, if I can do it, you can too!! Best of luck to everyone :-)

Passed with 62 very relieved...I revised hard for this exam very stressed the night before it and inevitabely the exam itself was bumpy. Now just the two option papers...

i just referred Kaplan text book & my lectures notes and mock allhamdulilah i got through on my 1 st attempt even without attempting the full paper.

passed with 50%.

Passed with 66% first attempt. Studied with Kaplan but Opentuition was a great help to understand certain topics. Thanks Chris. 1 exam completed 3 more to go.

Failed with 40%, but I did also sit ATX, which I passed with 61% and that is where I really put all my efforts. So, roll on March for my SBR re-sit (my final exam) and hopefully I will be qualified when April comes around! Congratulations to all who passed and Qualified on the back of this sitting!

Same, I even bought the new revision kit (which is now on it's way back to Amazon). Passed first time using OpenTuition - thanks Chris (and Team). 65%.

I passed with 51%

52% Oh my god,I passed first attempt!Just couldn’t believe my eyes..I attempted all questions but the seemed all so difficult and did not know how to answer, I thought I might have taken like 25-30 % ,but no,eventually I made it and here come the pass rate!!HOORAYYYY!!! So so excited

passed with 65% on my first attempt thanks to my God and Open tuition!!!

The people who passed 10-20 years ago seem to be the ones who suggest doing more than 1 at a time. I know there are fewer sittings now so it's easier to split them, but have the exams changed so it's harder to study for more than 1 simultaneously? All exams so far have taken A LOT of work so I think I'll stick to my strategy of doing one at a time.

I passed first time. Be advised that the past question papers e.g. Those in the exam kit are different from the actual exam. Make sure you really understand the standards not rote learn them to then be able to distinguish them in any real real world scenarios. You need to be able explain your thought process in calculations when asked and what is happening and where you are not clear about what is required state your assumption and give an answer. Its alot about evaluating and pretty much unravelling scenarios with applicable standards which you need to be able to identify on to our own most of the time.

First time passed first ever exam too. Struggled with time - advice for anyone would be practice exam questions well ahead in timed condition as soon as you have good understanding of the topic. DO NOT leave this for last week like me. Now SBL and AFM for me.

I did questions under time conditions 1 month prior to the exam and still struggled... I think with the way this paper it's going you really need to understand the concepts by reading the technical articles and other journals e.g. Pwc has alot of articles on IFRS standard on their website which can help greatly to widen up knowledge on a topic and to think outside the text book and revision kits model answers.

I work full time and as such would only advise to take one exam at a time. I have not passed all my exams first time, so I have doubled up at the next sitting to sort of play catch up. Which is what I was doing here. For me I would rather the additional stress and study time, compared to taking a further year or two (potentially) You yourself know what you are capable of, but during exam week it can be too easy to jumble up and risk failing them both.

I was aiming for only 50%. So I was completely taken back when this mail was sent to me.
