I failed drastically with 21 and thought I'd done OK after the exam. I've never failed by that much on anything

SBL is my last paper in ACCA but I failed again at the third attempt by scoring 47. Finally I quit.. I think I have tried enough

First attempt. Failed with 49! So frustrating. On the plus side I passed FM.

Failed AAA & SBL in September, I was inconsolable... but I’ve passed both in this sitting & now finished. Be strong & persevere - you will get it next time!!

51% - 2nd attempt. Believe me I will take that considering how much I hated this exam!!! For anyone that’s failed, hang in there!

Pass on 2nd attempt with 53. Can never tell with these exams. Have always found it so unfairly difficult. Especially so when you’re working full time with young kids and so little time to study. We try so hard and yet they have to make it nearly impossible to pass.

Passed first time with 54. I am thrilled :)

Passed with 71 really relieved as the second 30 mark question felt like I was floundering at times. I think the trick is from reading the examiners report to keep cross referencing and using all the different sources to fullest effect and keep your answer relevent to the questions and don't deviate from what the question is asking.

Third time pass with 55% So pleased I’m now an affiliate. For anyone who has failed, as hard as it is, please don’t give up. ACCA has been a long 5 years for me (with a year out in between) but now it’s finally over, so happy!

I passed this exam at my second attempt with only 2 days of study! A passmark of 64! I honestly do not understand how it happened based on what I did in the exam. I'll take it with a big thanks to God.

It was my first attempt to any Acca exam and got passed with 59. It was a terrific experience because I believe the paper was very practical and you never needed any technical knowledge. I hardly prepared for this exam as I was already going through a busy schedule. Anyways goodluck to all peeps.

Pass 80% first time finally all done! Was really afraid of SBL but in the exam hardly used 10% of the theory in the syllabus. The trick of this paper is to be as practible as possible and use common sense, use the scenario as much as possible as each paragraph would have hints to answer questions. Finally forget about the models.

Passed first time 62% in my last exam, thank you to open tuition for all the help over the last 4 years. I could not have done it without you in any shape ot form. I started at F1 in nov 15 and now i have fully qualified. In this time i was married, had my first child and moved job, failed a couple and took some time out. No matter how tough it was, i never gave up and the reward is for life..... Never give up on your dream and always listen to the examiners comments...... 2nd time pass, got 58%. I found the exam really tough even though you needed no technical knowledge. Only two more exams to go.

Passed in 2nd attempt with 54%(first attempt %38) and my way comes to end for ACCA. My advice to who failed is not to give up and do not be disappointed, since the failure is in the nature of the examinations, keeping in mind that all associations are profit driven. Do not listen the first time passes who tries to talk and emphasize continuously how successful and clever they are, since they are taking the certifications or degrees to affect people. Work in a job and prepare for ACCA or whatever to improve and develop for yourself. Please do not forget experience is much more important than any certifications. I summarize my SBL preparation in order to help who failed since I know the feeling of failure. (I am a regular looser of ACCA exams and very experienced with failure). The key points are; -Use one set of materials to cover the syllabus and make your own notes to memorize during revision period, that needs to be start 2 weeks before the exam date. -Make a good plan depending your availability for preparation (At least 150 hours for SBL). -Do not jump into past and specimen exams first. Use BPP revision kit in order to familiarize with type of questions. -Solve the past and specimen exams. -Please do mock exams under the timed conditions. -Please write your answers while solving questions past, specimen and mock exams. I believe this is the most important point and contribute to develop. I hope this helps. You will achieve if you are dedicated and insist enough. Believe in yourself nobody will help you including God, Jesus or Allah.

Are there any new affiliates here? Does anyone know why the p papers have expiry dates even after passing all exams? I am a new affiliate but my strategic papers all have expiry dates
