@dennis98 said: Was wondering - if you do all three optional questions will the marker give you marks for the best two?
I was told that if you answer all three the marker will mark the first two questions they come across ignoring the last..

Exam was a disaster. Wasted more than 15 minutes to read and select the optional questions. (You have to spend time to read long paragraphs to select the optional questions.) . It was a time pressured exam. Anyway I am happy that from the next examination sitting (from Sep'18) there are no optional questions and I need not to waste time to read and grasp any questions that I need not to answer at all.

Timing is just such a pain.. Spoke to lecturer after and he said that timing is the main reason the pass rate is so low because people usually leave out questions. He said mainly people leave out question 2. I left question 4 until the end. I got part A & B complete (1. 5 paragraphs per mark).. Regarding section C, 7 marks, I got 1 or 2 bullet points down as time was lost but i also didnt have a clue what to write. Did you guys get it finished?/ all questions answered?

I did not manage to finish . Probably 15 mark nothing written due to time pressure on question 1

15 marks is not too bad Lesbella. Hope we did enough! I really knew I should have moved on sooner from Q1 but I had info I wanted to get down as I was pretty confident with the answer for C & D.. The remaining questions were just too rushed! regret it now!!

I was very sick on that day. the invigilator though I was going to pass out on her. But God is good I manage to catch myself and rush the exams. did. 1 2 3 & 4 did not use good exams technique I only numberd each page and skipped a line after each point don't know what to expect.

I agree with quite a few of you, and so far think I have done pretty badly answering the quantity of questions in comparison ! Wow talk about time pressure. It took ages just to read the questions properly let alone answer them. So many parts to Question 1. Unfortunately I spent ALL my time doing Q1 and Q2 so unless I get 89% of what I wrote correct, I will being seeing the rest of you who didn't quite make it in Sep! If we had more time I reckon a lot of us would have aced it, but alas we don't. I will have a 2 week break then will start practising Q1 and Q2 within time limits so next time it shouldn't be a major issue. Good luck on exam results day everyone.

@vorkath said: On second thought, I think you're right... we don't have to pay rebate until they actually buy the specified amount .. Which question was this again?
I believe its that type of provision relating to a construction obligation similar to a warranty provision.

I hate the last few days of waiting for results. I think I have failed but still waiting before hitting the books for round 2 in September.
