50 on the dot! I had lost the courage to write this paper for 3 years. My previous attempts were met with 47% and 49%. When the results came in this morning, I was in shock. I stared at the word PASS for sometime then checked to see if it was actually my name there. The realization kicked in, I screamed! Someone had to check on me coz I went loud y'all. I have never written a paper this many times. Thank you Yahweh. Thank you open tuition, keep up the good work. ACCA affiliate finally. To everyone who is attempting this paper again, read your text, get to know your stuff then walk, talk, breathe, and eat past exam papers everyday. I only studied selectively and had one month to prepare. 90% of my preparation came from past papers. I don't advise anyone to study for a short time, I have a very demanding work schedule and when I wrote, it was an attempt to get myself into study mode again so that maybe, just maybe I could finally pass the March 2016 sitting. So unexpected. If I can make it, you can too.

read the answers to questions and get the understanding of how questions are answered and what is expected candidates for each type of questions as for p7 the requirements are always the same and lastly pray to God who is the ultimate rewarder and I am a living testimony of that as i got 83%

P7 72% great, except that my absolute last exam P5 came in at 49... bummer :-(

Dear All, I failed P7 with a pretty low mark. I'm more than disappointed and suprised, because I learned hard, my time management on the exam was quite OK (almost managed to finish, did not leave any of the target questions untouched). I really hoped I will pass, but I only scored 35. (Actually I passed all the other P level papers for the first attempt, including P4) I think about asking for a review for the scoring.... Does anyone have experience about asking for a review for the scoring? How much would it cost, it is worth to ask for it? Is it possible to have so low marks only due to a bad hand writing? Thanks a lot for any comment....

I'm not saying this was easy but for someone scoring 70-80% in all my mocks I am still in shock I failed at 45% Anyone else struggling with the UK variant not knowing the mark allocations for q1? Also how do we see the full answers rather than the Sept combined ones? I scored 70% in F7 and my job was audit focused too so in genuine shock I failed and no idea where I had gone wrong which worries me for the resit in March! Please help

PASSED P7 50 ON MY FIRST ATTEMPT. I USED BPP KIT IF YOU HAVE ENOUGH F8 & P2 IAS IFRS KNOWLEDGE, STRAIGHLTY DO THE REVISION KIT Qs. I DID 80 % OF THE Q IN KIT one time. WE CAN FINISH THE KIT ONE TIME IN ABOUT 6 DAYS TIME. I recommend doing the kit 2 times. To make sure you will pass with a 60 above marks.

Failed with 35 marks, even though I answered only question one and one other question. I blanked out during the exams and the last hour and 20mins, I did'nt write anything. All the same, I thank God for His mercy. My advice is to sleep well the night before the exams. Hope everything works put in March In Sha Allah.

@kasprzakpawel@yahoo.co.uk said: So proud of myself! First attempt and first time self-studying. One more option to go before becoming a member!
oh, exactly the same as me. I self studied for the first time and was so nervous that i couldn't sleep properly the night before the result day. But the result turns out to be much better than expectation. I also have one option left and it will be P4 because P5 is truly a nightmare from what I heard from people.
Former userFormer user10y ago#57
62 for P7, thanks opentuition, finally an affiliate
Former userFormer user10y ago#58
alhamdulillah passed with 51 first attempt.
Kkop1710y ago#59
Passed with 55 marks first attempt. To Ildiko, review means only checking the arithmetical accuracy of your total, so it won't change anything. You better study the examiner's answer as it is probable that you did not answer the questions with sufficient depth. For example 'explain' means identify and then use you own words to shed some light on what you identified. If you only identify you will get only half of the marks.

I finally passed p7 - 50% on the dot after several attempts. Funny thing when I got to work I was avoiding my emails distracting myself with my work until I got the courage to open my result and be so super excited. I hugged almost every stranger in the building never been so happy. Now left with one paper! My advice NEVER GIVE UP!
