APM** ACCA P5 June 2015 Exam Results **

Passed with 55! Thanks God!! Finally an ACCA affiliate! just few notes after reading the comments: 1. Get the easy marks, as in putting your answers in report format when required. That's 4 easy marks right there, and you just need 46 others to pass. 2. Don't give up, hang in there, this is really a paper that you don't know how well you did or not until result comes out. I thought I did really bad until i got my result 3. For those thinking of going to p6, only do so if you are rill good at calculations, or else stick with p5, less calculations, and as long as u hit on some points, you might get lucky like me!

Passed-55%(third attempt).Thank you opentuition for the videos and notes.They were a real game changer. Now I am an ACCA affiliate. For those that didnt make it;dont give up, it has taken me 6 years.

Got 47 again on second attempt. Really don't know what I'm missing. I was sure of passing the second attempt. God help me. Need ur advice.

Very well done those who passed P5 this time round. I have personally got to the end of P5. It is not lack of proper study, exam technique, question practice in exam condition, attend full time course, revision course etc, examiner's reports, webnars, technical articles. I have done all these and still failed, so there is nothing left for me at P5. I have decided that it is not for me. I can understand if failure is due to lack of study, hard work or any of the above but I just do not know what it is and I cannot face those questions again as I exhausted them at the last sitting. Good lack to you all. I am not the type to give up but this paper has made me reach this decision

P5 - 58 first attempt :) P4 -57, first attempt at last finished ACCA - so glad, but also a little sad, that it is over. It was challenging experience :)

Congratulations to everyone. This was my 3rd attempt and I have finally passed this exam with 60%. I will never understand how they mark this exam since I was more confident about passing with the last two takes then this one.

Oh and I forgot to thank Opentuition - I am so lucky, that 5 years ago I have met Mike and that they started all this for our support - it is was very valuable for my self study experience and I hope guys you are getting your payback for all your dedicated hard work. Good luck

53 on my second attempt, the first i got 48 but i had only studied for 1 week. This time i studied hard for 3 weeks, and had already covered all material in one month. A good healthy environment was all it took me, but opentuition's lecture videos were the ace up my sleeve! Now an ACCA Affiliate, i'm looking into the future in a more positive lense!!!!

Failed 46% 4th attempt but that is not going to stop me.I didn't come this far to Quit cuz of one subject.yes I spent every moment studying but I believe it did not go to waste.I'm sticking with p5 until I do it.

passed - 53%, which seems to be a common mark judging by this thread. am now an affiliate. Thought the exam went very well, but I guess I may have lost some marks due to the confusing nature of the questions. Think I might have not done so well in Q1, but gobbled up the marks on Q3 and Q4. Still very happy with this result, as this was probably the hardest ACCA exam for me (well this and F5).

Grace has fallen on me. Thank God. Affilliate now, never give up guys. Advice- support your points with evidence from the Scenario. Always answer the WHY word in every point you make, using because, as, inorder to etc. Challenging but exciting in the end.

Well done to everyone who passed the exam, especially to those who have now become affiliates! If you didn't pass this time, don't be discouraged. It took me 7 years to complete all of the exams and was definitely worth the wait and the hard work.

Second attepmt, passed (60%). First time at December was 47. Now affiliate!!!

Passed 58% 4th attempt .............3rd attempt I got 23% totally depressing ........... I focused on technique an I am an affiliate now............ this paper has all my respect .......... focus on technique and knowledge and you will succeed. God Bless you all!!

Wow it does seem 53 is a common mark. That's what i got too... so one more paper to go. Maybe i should really try to use open tuition material. I just self study.
