Passed in 1st attempt ,thanks a lot OpenTution for the awesome concise notes. Can someone please tell me abt P1, can one use the old revision kit that is available on amazon for the Dec attempt? The new ACCA module for corporate governance is being launched Oct end, will it have any impact for Dec attempt?
AAdnan8y ago#41

EEd8y ago#44
Failed, although I expected it, I am gutted cause of the hard work I put in. Anyway, I will try again.
AAwhejevu8y ago#45
Hi, will advise you read the exam kit, try and watch the question answering on technical articles that will help you in answering the questions and also read open tuition notes. Above all pray to God
EEd8y ago#46
Thanks! I did read and study everything though, but time management and nerves took over, so poor performance. I was still hoping to pass, but my hand writing was awful cause my hands were trembling as I raced with time. Anyway, I have to keep trying, getting 45 means I have to relax and be more focused..

What was P3 question 1 on - I remember POPIT and who remembers the other issue that needed to be solved
Jjohn8y ago#59
Sorry - I failed too. Do you remember what the main q1 was requiring us to work on?
TThanh8y ago#60
57% quite disapointed... though, Popit and Contextual Factors were my weak points and I was lucky enough to get both :). John have a look at the examiners report, he briefly talks about the questions that have come up. https://www.accaglobal.com/content/dam/acca/global/PDF-students/acca/p3/examinersreports/p3-examreport-s17.pdf The pass rates for this sitting was at a record high of %55, the last highest pass rate was in DEC 2007 at %56. I just wonder whether people are more motivated to pass or whether ACCA are making it easier for these papers. https://www.accaglobal.com/uk/en/student/exam-support-resources/professional-exams-study-resources/pass-rates-professional-exams.html
