Don't worry may be when ACCA starts giving out 49% you would appreciate them better. Don't know why some are saying ACCA is giving out free marks.

Passed with 57% and P1 with 50%- both first time and that's now me done forever - thanks be to........ me! Can anyone beat me for the longest time to get to affiliate status? I registered with ACCA in Nov 2001 and had a 10 year gap before completing P1, P2 & P3 ( all passed this year on first attempt and first attempt at home study!) Makes it all the sweeter though and means I have over 200 months of relevant work experience gained!

I've finished my boat trip- I'm now an affiliate!

Failed again with 37%. Resitting in September. Need to do more question practice I think.

1. Put double efforts on studying consolidation of financial statements. 2. Try to study past questions as much as you can. 3. Read the technical articles. 4. Dont leave any question unaswered during the exam. Good luck !!

I have failed corporate reporting - second time. I registered with this body in 2001 and, sat and passed my first paper in my first exam sitting - December 2001. Thereafter, it has been a difficult task to pass my unit(s) on first attempt. I've had several disruption with employment - superior feel threaten by knowledge shared, the WORST ever - not being working for almost seventy five (75) months. I was first dismissed from my job when I informed my superior and applied for vacation leave to do my exams; I was out of job for almost twelve (12) months. The work relation affect one's progress and, if we can study without informing anyone at work - perfect for progress. The work place have too many haters - not appreciative of one's desire to share knowledge for business and professional development. Strength is what the most high God - Jehovah shared with me and, I've polished ALL papers in foundation and intermediate level. My intention is to obtain employment - it is difficult when there is so many unethical person - who believe you MUST do window dressing to suit their personal and selfish NEEDS - big pay-pack. I'll not turn the company expenses into assets and the other naughty stuff they indulged practices. There are simple mistakes I made in this exams, which cost me - failed marks received. I would appreciate your HELP, whatever way; just send me a private message via OT. I am looking out for your response. We've to commend each other - determination to complete - the circumstances does not affect the aim - HIGH; we have set standards and goals. We'll achieve divine plan and purposes. Congrats!! I think I can beat you. I registered in 2000 and had 4 exams left after 8 or so years break and I did them all with solo home study and passed 3 of them first attempt. But attempted one at a time so u got me beat there...plus I havent been working in the inbetween years in the accounting sector so Im not sure how i will become a member..i have a bit under 2 years experience in audit. Need to do research to figure it out.

1st attempt pass. I did basically f7 revision plus the extra P2 bits on consolidation etc but i spent the last week or more exlusively reading articles. All the info you need to pass the exam on the written/theoretical parts are there....and 65% of the exam is non numerical/theoretical! Number crunching alone will not get u far. I actually made a mess of the cosolidation but still passed. Hope this helps :)

Read ALL the articles and read them well. Info in rev kit is not enough it seems. I was also on the wrong path like u but when i realised all the great material in the articles I dedicated more than a week to studying them well. I work d!

Anna, please dont give up!!!! I passed 1st try with home study. I just did f7 revision plus some extra p2 bits then i studied heavily the articles. It was the most tirying exam study ever!!!! Read them all and learn them well...its more important than questions!!! I spend more than 7 days only reading them and if i hadnt i would have failed badly!! If there is anything you think I can help you with please ask me (and anyone else) just dont give up!!!!
