Fail P1 with 31 this time. previously was 39. :((( Now I plan to take P1 and P2 in Dec. I self study too. This time i answered all the question . I choose ques 2 and 3. Did you have enough time during the exam? Can you tell me how to combat this paper so that i can Pass in Dec?

Passed P1 on first attempt. Thanks be to God almight and to Sir Mikelittle for your valuable advice. To all those who have passed, congrats, to those who didnt good lack next time.

Thanks to ALLAH almighty cleared P1...with almost margin 51 (To be precise)..but again now nothing matters.. still p2,p3 and one optional except p4 remains.. Opentitution is gem and really helpful for passing. thanks for notes..!

If you are self studying please be content and work hard but steady! Remember, to keep your mind calm during the paper. i didn't even read the governance part and had to leave 10 marks for that. But again, please cover 100% syllabus to have high morale and confidence during exams! By no other possible way, you can increase your confidence!

I passed second attempt! thank god. I've been hovering over the 'open mail' button all morning......I was so nervous! I was comfortable with the option questions but hated Q1 so had mixed feelings about what to expect. On to P4....

passed with 50%. Thanks to OPT for your lectures and materials they have been quite helpful.
RRudo8y ago#24
Thank you for the videos and the lecture notes. I find them very helpful especially if you have to work long hours and study at the same time.

Failed with 45 marks in my first attempt, 5 more marks to passed ugh so close anyway can we request for our exam answer? it would be great to be able to review my exam answer and know exactly where i was wrong at

Sorry to hear that Nafiismail. I failed P1 in June with 46. You can appeal to ACCA and they can recount your marks (think it's approx £50 per paper/appeal) but it is just an arithmetic exercise - adding the marks up again - they don't actually remark you paper. Papers will have gone through several checks already before they release results so it is unlikely to change. Apparently it's extremely rare to get ACCA to come back with a different result. I considered doing this in June but after reading unsuccessful stories I decided it was not worth it. Not sure if the appeal provides anymore information other than Q1 - met/not met, Q2 - met/ not met etc etc......?? Good luck for future papers

Nafiismail, it is quite possible to recall your paper. Though it is much painful when you expect to have a better result but turns out to be otherwise. but i will rather advice that you forgot about the recall & focus more on resit and adopt a new strategy towards your reading and preparation for the next diet.
