General ACCAACCA Mar 2021 results countdown

@Kim Smith, Many of the students may have other alternatives (paid or unpaid) sources of tuition/study materials for ACCA. But most of the outside ALP teachers/tutors don't know how ACCA administrative wing functions! Most of the students have Kaplan/bpp study manuals when they get academic doubts. But when they get doubts regarding PER, EPSM, and how ACCA operates or what is the SOP that ACCA operates when an incident arises, then probably we have one and only "Kim Smith the Keymaster" as a last resort. heyyy, I wrote APM for the 1st time this sitting as well. how are you feeling about it? I'm so nervous this paper has 1 of the lowest pass rates. hoping for the best... how did you feel the exam went? Attempted like 96% of the exam

@henry1acca All Options papers have the lowest pass rates. AAA also, once AFM ATX also had pass percentage of 30% in some attempts so it doesn't mean APM has the lowest pass percentage. Although ATX AFM passing ratio fluctuates too much.

@shobhit - in the e-mail from Exam Administration about receiving results by sms it clearly states something like: "In previous exam sessions unauthorised attempts have been made to access exam results early. Whilst we appreciate the desire to find out exam results, this type of activity adds risk on the release of results to all ACCA students and students should refrain from doing so. ACCA MONITORS these attempts and will follow-up any unauthorized attempts as necessary." OpenTuition aims to protect its genuine students from unethical practices.

@kermillia I also attempted APM, the professional level papers r always challenging especially Option papers. Hard to crack. The exam was OK, I also left something around 4-5 marks in between while attempting the paper, skipped some points due to time constraints.

@kim smith Ok,so if i score less than 50% in both sections A and B,My Paper shall be marked 2nd,That is what it means? Is it not about the overall performance of the paper or is it from Indication from section A and B that my paper will be marked 2nd?

@mazahirg - no - if overall your mark is less than 50%. So if someone were to score 45/60 marks on Sections A and B (together) and only 1/40 marks on Section C the overall mark would be 46%. Section C would be 2nd marked - though presumably not much in it to mark (!)

@chartac At what time did you receive email from ACCA about receiving exam results and what paper did you write?

@mazahirg - I really don't know how to explain more clearly - if after the auto-marking of Sections A and B and the expert marking of Section C the total is a "marginal fail" (I cannot say exactly what this band of marks less than 50% will be because it will depend on various factors) - Section C will be "2nd marked".
