FRACCA FR Exam Results – December 2020 - Instant Poll and Comments
Passed first attempt 51%
Despite all the work put, I scored 47.
This my first attempt.
I missed major marks in section C, will work on it especially single entity.
Congratulations to all who were successful. Good luck with the next set of exams.
For those who did not achieve what they wished for, do not despair. You will have done something wrong in either your preparation or on the day of the exam itself. Practice makes perfect, and perfect is 50% or above. So get practising the questions under timed exam conditions so that you are well set for the exam day experience.
@ranganaherath
Focus on Section C practice in your revision, then you will be able to answer Sections A and B easily as it’s applying the same theory but on shorter questions.
48%...Am gonna try again come June sitting inshaaAllah
Thanks
@danACCA thanks mate
I used open tuition together with my lecturer at a school here in Trinidad. I passed with 56% , shocked at my mark since I messed up section c. But Chris really helped me understand financial instructions and eps which I struggled a lot. My advice would be to use open tuition, the videos' are short and to the point.
Hey!! First of all many many congratulations to all those who passed the FR exam :) Everyone's hard work paid off! I just need a small piece of advice from you all. I am sitting for the audit exam in the march 20201 session and from here I exactly have 5 weeks to prepare. Shall I go for two exams? FR and AA? Will it be turn out to be a big trouble for me? Also I would like to mention that I am a full time student and I can easily devote 10-12 hours everyday.
Waiting for a quick response.
Thanks and regards.
Praises to Almighty, I passed with 78%, I studied from OT, kaplan study txt, I think the key to pass is that:
first of all you aim for good marks not just pass marks,
2ndly, practice, for paper like FR, after getting all the concepts straight just focus on practice, complete exam kit, and do at least two time structured final exam models form ACCA website (at the end of your revision.)
Thanx OT team,
Dear Akkfian, If you have previously studies any of two papers, then go for both. If not, I would suggest you choose only one of these, because 5 weeks is enough time to revise one and study another paper from scratch, but to study both from the beginning it might be hard,
So its batter to focus on any one and make sure you ace it. then to juggle two with a looming uncertainty.
I hope this helps.
I totally agree with you that its shear lucky, last time i started reading in 5 days before exams i had 46 but the time when i even took leave from work for month and read for a full month I had 37.Really its difficult to understand what goes on in these exams
