Passed 56% thank you john from the bottom of my heart. Your lectures were fun to watch and kept me interested in a subject I found so hard to grasp. Thank you

I am always pissed on myself, because basically after every exam I think to myself that one more day for learning and I would pass without any issues. From F's I miss only tax, and for all F5, F7 & F9 for whole time since exam till receiving results I had this damn feeling, that probably I am gonna fail. And couldn't keep thinking why why I haven't planned this one additional day in advance. Especially painful that at my work almost everyone at team does them and definitely results will be discussed. Only exception was F8 which I was sure I did awesomely well. And for now I have worst mark from F8 accross all other Fs, but thankfully passed...

Thank you Opentution. Passed FM at 60%! This is really enough for me. Thank you Lord.

Failed. I was not prepared properly. Any tips how to prepare for this paper. I find FM very confusing.
Ggoodvibes6y ago#11
Many Congratulations! Can you share some study tips for this exam?
MMahamudul6y ago#12
Everybody is sharing their pass score , so I am sharing my fail score. I ended with only 40 marks!! I expected more but this mark really disappoints me as I think I have to do a lot more studies to pass in December. I don't the CBE as they make the part A look very difficult.

Passed 1st attempt with 77%. Now taking a break before SBR in March. My best advice for anyone struggling is to practice past paper questions as much as possible.

Passed on second attempt with 63%. This was the only exam so far which I failed on the first attempt and I have to say, this time round, the exam was a lot kinder and a lot more of what I was expecting. I work full time and had an audit at the same time as the exam so super proud I actually passed it! I am now going to take a break and then sit SBR in March, giving myself more time than the usual 9 weeks to study it!! Tips to pass: I printed out about 20 past papers and did those over and over again, plus I started the exam in section C, got those done, then B then A - I finished with an hour to go and had plenty of time to re-read all the questions/answers so my biggest tip would be do section C first. Section A is always going to be a weird one and if you start with it, you will probably be a bit put off - there will be questions you easily know and some which are completely foreign to you but that's fine and expected, as long as you try to smash section C and then make up some marks with B and A, you will be fine! Doing section C first made me more confident for the rest of the paper.

51% first time pass, so happy thanks John and OT

2nd attempt and failed with 49%......not the first time I got such a mark but starting to get tired of these exams now after the hard work and years I've put in.
BBatool6y ago#20
this is my second attempt in FM and in both cases i got 49%. This is also my first Exam as i got exempted from all the rest. It's very confusing how this can happen although i have done much better than my first attempt.

PASSED FIRST TIME! Thank you for your help!
SStephanie6y ago#22
Failed with 48% - SO frustrating!! Im not sure I can face this exam again, already sat it 3 times. I think Im done :-(
MMolly6y ago#23
Passed on 2nd attempt with 51%! Currently studying to take SBR and AAA in December!
EEmma6y ago#24
Failed 2nd time with 44%! Yet I'm so happy with that score mainly it was the worst exam i have ever sat; I had a blind panic for 15minutes, couldnt do the simple questions because i was in such a mad panic, didnt have any time to go over my answers so had to hope my gut was correct. FM is one of the hardest exams of this level for a reason and it shows that i do know the syllabus but i cracked under the exam pressure which has never happened to me before. December, 3rd time lucky! I'm smashing it.

Well done for your dedication and for not giving up!!! You will get there, fingers crossed.

Thank you OT and from the bottom of my heart a huge thanks to Mr. John Moffat, your lecturers were the best, hugging you all the way from Jamaica...
KKayode6y ago#28
Thanks so much to John and the OpenTuition Team, I had a marginal first time pass of 52% without completing a day of revision as I ran out of study time. I completed the last lecture on the day of the exam. Not ideal and got a lucky break aided by the awesomeness of OpenTuition. I would definitely prepare better for my next paper i.e. AFM because I want John to lecture me again.
DDaniel6y ago#29
Glory be to God, Passed first attempt with 69, thanks OT.
JJoseph6y ago#30
Fail, 42 marks, fail for he 4th time
EEmmanuel6y ago#31
I passed FM on my first attempt..realized passing ACCA exams is more of Strategy than trying to do everything
Ssu6y ago#32
Thank you so much. Opentuition really gives me big support. Notes are really helpful. I pass with 54.
MFMohammad Fazal6y ago#33
Failed at 45%, first attempt, worst thing is I don’t quite know where I went missing. Maybe section a and b, as they tend to be hit and miss?, and after feeling down for a while, I’ve decided I’m going to go very hard at it this time around and smash it, this is also the first paper I’ve failed on first attempt, having passed the others and audit one I sat along side it. Any tips would be appreciated
