Never give up. After my 6th attempt, i manage to get 50 marks. On previous attempts end up between 43 to 49. Ended up twice with 49 marks. But i never gave up. I believe there is no beautiful mark than 50 marks. Only those who end up with 49 marks can understand this.

Thanks to Mr Moffats for all my stupid questions he answered. However, having scored 60 on my third attempt,I believe I should have done better. it fuels the question of why ACCA restrict access the the answer booklets. it may help avoid mistakes in next exam. For example, if my writing isn't legible enough because I have always thought I did well in exams but results weren't as promising.

thanks for the tips, will try this for the Sep exam

@carolita1 said: passed 5th attempt with 58 i started to think that maybe im dull.lol.i was always getting between 47 and 49
This gives me hope! I'm taking this for the third time in December. Do you mind if I ask what you did differently?

Those of my friends who are not able to pass this time rememer that at times Life may knock you down badly BUT the key is to pick yourself up and fight again and again until you succeed. At one time i was so demotivated that i left ACCA with 11 papers knowing that i won't be able to complete it, but resumed after a long period of time with new determination and ambition and qualified the remaining 3 in first attempt. Keep fighting.

Failed with 40% on my 3rd attempt. Really is frustrating because I thought the paper went quite well. Huge congrats to those who passed, any pointers on this paper would be greatly appreciated. You give us hope !! :)

Thank you for the encouragement. I really thought it was me alone. I will definitely rewrite in December. I have been self studying for F1,F2,F3,F6,F8. Any pointers on how i can pass F5?
Ttareen9y ago#46

Ssygege9y ago#47
I failed F5 in June 2017. Thinking to retake in Dec 2017, is there any changes in sybullas? Can I still use the materials I went for classes in Jan 2017? Thank you.
CChia9y ago#48
No point. Work harder on the next attempt. That is what I am doing now.
Ssygege9y ago#49
But I also need the materials to study. Just asking if I can use back the materials? Thanks
GGOEMON9y ago#50
when people fail their exams, they don't take part in the research. That's why it seems like opentuition students look really successful. At any rate, i passed.
OOwean9y ago#51
First attempt 39%, second 49% and finally passed now with 55%. Thank you Open Tuition

stepstothebest: What you have written is obviously not true - if you look at the results on the first page of this thread then you will see that 211 people have submitted that they have failed!! Obviously it is impossible for us to be scientific - we cannot force people to submit their result, and not everyone who has submitted their result necessarily studied using OpenTuition. However, if you look at the graph of the results, the degree of correlation between OpenTuition and ACCA globally is remarkable.

I know the feeling all too well, i am also thankful, its my 5th attempt at this paper.
NNassuuna9y ago#54
56% second attempt.49% first attempt. But I found the paper a nightmare. You know everything but some how the paper seemed so hard. But thanks John Moffat you really explained the paper so well.
