I passed with a 66% yesterday, I found the exam hard! on my 5 mock exams I got around 80% pass but on the actual exam I feel that it was harder…

    Passed with 61%
Used open tuition lectures and notes, read the Kaplan text book and did the Kaplan revision kit questions for each chapter after reading each chapter.
Then did the 3 ACCA practice tests which were very good, similar to the real thing.
Thanks Mike for your help and everyone else at OT.
    Past consideration is no consideration!
I’m sure I’ll see you again soon
    Regards

I failed F4 this morning with 48% 🙁 I am very disappointed as I got 60%+ in 3 mock papers.

I passed with 60%- three weeks from actually receiving my notes. Tough exam but there is no substitute for hard work.

Hi, I am intending to do F4 this June. I will take the CBE exam and I am relying on BPP Passcards-June 2015 for the preparation. Can anyone advise that it is enough material to pass F4. Is there any new chapters.

Get a revision kit – much, much more use than passcards

Then practice questions from the revision kit over and over again (so don’t mark your answer attempts in the book itself – mark them on a separate piece of paper!)

    Hi Mike,

    Please assist me,

At what point is the new partner liable for partnership debts and what debts is s/he liable to?

Debts incurred by the partnership after joining or entire partnership debts?

I feel its fair to be liable for debts after joining the partnership…………….

A new partner is only liable for partnership debts which has been incurred after joining the partnership except they expressly agree to be liable.

However, an exiting (retiring) partner is liable for debts incurred before leaving the partnership (except the creditor agrees to release them from the debt), as well as debts incurred after exiting the partnership if the third party has not been made aware of him/her exiting the partnership.

    Mike, hope I am right?

Passed on the 26th of May with 76%. I finished the exam in 46 minutes and 21 seconds.

There was a difference between the difficulty of the actual exam and the ACCA specimen exam.

Passed yesterday CBE with 55%, studied 3 full days, mainly revision kit test questions. Practice, practice, practice. For me the reading of theory is not working, I just looked through the noted and then practiced.
