When did you receive it ?
I can remember I received something similar while waiting for my SBR result and I did pass. Many received this previously but it's just random email. BTW, is this from ACCA or learn signal. I can see they have uploaded our result it's showing number 1 in my qualification
Learn signal is just tuition provider so every time they randomly send email. But it's true after result published they know our information as every time I passed they sent me congratulations email (learn singel) that's mean after result publication ACCA shares our information but before result I don't know. BTW guys did u find 1 number in your ACCA qualification yet?
@Sayhossz
Thanks for your reply
Yes in my profile there is 1 notification in red circle under my qualification
I wrote AAA and SBR LAST DECEMBER
Did u receive such book exam email from ACCA or learn signal? I am waiting for AFM last exam of mine
I beleive ACCA should not sedn out any email before the release at all (such as update or email about next session...)... not to stress people more...
Guys do the notification indicate anything..
Notifications mean nothing. ALPs should not be sending out e-mails at this time and I have not seen/heard that any of them have in the last week. If you have received such an e-mail it would be helpful if you could post it in entirety with date/time stamp to this forum for follow-up.
It used to be the case that ACCA did not send e-mails for 2 weeks before results but the problem now is that with 4 exam sessions a year that would be 2 months of the year when ACCA could not send out communications to students - especially when with new CBE, remote exams and implications of covid there is a lot to keep students informed about. ACCA recommends that students bookmark and visit regularly the "covid hub" for updates - https://www.accaglobal.com/uk/en/cam/coronavirus.html
If you were to do that I think you would find that communications only reinforce other messaging and is in no way related to students' results.
I sat the SBR exam in the Dec 2020 session and it was...I don't know, I guess it was hard for me and it was nothing like any of the past papers, for example, only 5 marks related to group accounting, no accounting standards involved in the Q2 ethics question, etc.
When I saw Q1 I thought I might pass the exam with no problem, coz I was familiar with all 4 questions in Q1: defined benefit plan, goodwill calculation/explanation, classification between asset and business, derecognition criteria of financial assets. I ended up spending 1h15mins on Q1, but although I'm familiar with the examined topics I'm not sure how good I responded; I have a weird feeling that my answer format was not clear enough and that I haven't 100% apply my knowledge to the case; that being said, Q1, in my view, is the best answered question of all 4 questions in the SBR paper.
But things got bad in Q2. It was the first time I see an ethics question without concerning the IFRS or IAS; after I finish the first question I didn't really have time for question 2 and 3, although I have no idea what I should write about even if I have time, coz I don't know how to discuss the expected life of credit cards T_T. So I simply skipped question 2 and 3 which worth a total of 8 marks in Q2. But I felt like I did some solid discussion in question 1, the ethics question.
I attempted every question in Q3, but I don't know how well I have attempted them. Again there is that weird feeling that I didn't fully apply my knowledge to the case, and didn't structure my answer plan properly like it should be.
Q4 was the toughest one for me, and also the reason for my anxiety. I haven't prepared anything related to sustainability reporting...<sigh>...so for the first question I only wrote the purposes of integrated reporting and provided some gibberish related to sustainability reporting based on my instinct and common sense...for question 2 which was entirely related to sustainability reporting, I skipped thoroughly <sigh>. For question 3 and 4 which worth a respective 6 and 7 marks in Q4, I guess I attempted them badly, partly because I didn't have enough time - my handwriting has always been much slower than typing. Provided some brief discussion and some accounting entries - no sure if they are correct - and that's the end.
I've become quite anxious and nervous about the exam result release. I haven't passed any ACCA paper ever since I failed AAA in the Dec 2019 session. Should I be lucky enough to pass SBR, I will be sitting AAA and SBL in the March session when CBE will be launched in China. But should I fail, I will have to spend another 3-months effort in retaking it. I'll become a full-time auditor in October this year and I just hope I can pass the exam before that time to be eligible for qualification pay.
I just hope if there are someone who are kind enough to assess my possibility of gaining a pass in the SBR paper T_T.
@rrahmati1 or anyone else who has received email from ACCA about exam preparation for March 2021 but is waiting on December results please can you copy and paste the wording of the e-mail including sender and time and date of sending to this thread. Thank you

@slawlor92 - thank you very much!
If anyone is hoping to be an affiliate with the publication of the December results - i.e. would not be preparing an exam in March - can you please let me know if you have received similar - and for which exam(s).
I also got that email ^
@malsulaiti - who is the sender in terms of e-mail address
I am hoping to be an affiliate and not preparing for any exam.
I received the same email as above "2021 employer expectation and new year plan"
Hello Kim, is it possible to book for AAA before getting AA result?
I am expecting my AA result and thinking of booking AAA
@modestar no I took Taxation in Dec, booked PM for March
@dpaul - as results are less than a week away I think you might as well wait. When entering for AAA (or indeed any SP level exam) you will have to enter also for any outstanding applied skills exams.
@Kim, I have completed all other applied skill exams and preparing to move into SP exams.
I want to know if it is possible to apply for AAA in anticipation of AA results.
Thank you.
I took TX in December. I felt that I did fine after leaving the exam center and then moved on with life. But recently when it's getting near the result released date, I started second doubting myself. And the stress is getting worse everyday :(( I couldn't sleep well and easily get frustrated with every little thing.
It was the same back in Oct when I was waiting for PM results, my very first ACCA exam. I was having annual leave that week but couldn't relax at all.
How do you guys normally deal with this anxiety? I really don't want it to keep happening every three months for the next year or two of my life. Thanks all
@dpaul123 – I don't see why you shouldn't be able to enter AAA for June - if you happened not to pass AA you would be able to resit it in March.
exactly same email i got
Thank you rishitesh and sabrina006 - please be assured that these standard marketing e-mails have nothing to do with your results.
Start preparing for next exam.

In my case I can say, only finishing the acca can diminish this issue
@sayhossz, exactly same like rishitish , i am finalist
I am under the same anxiety and suffer a massive depression from everything and acca does not help at all with these exams ...
Hoping for the best.
