Interview with F4 Genius Hunt winner in December 2014 exams

Please tell us in which country you live, and what work do you do.

I live in Malaysia and currently I am a full time student

You have scored 92 marks in the F4 exam, how much time each week did you spend studying, on average?
Around 28 hours a week or more

Which study resources did you use?
The BPP study text, revision kit and Sunway college materials. I also make use of open tuition lectures and notes as part of my final revision.

What was your approach to your studying?
I live by the rule “early to bed and early to rise”. For me, early morning is the best time to study because the mind is fresh and I can concentrate for a longer time. Furthermore, instead of memorizing something I try to understand what it is really about.

What would you say was the most important factor that helped you to achieve such a high mark?
Practice as many questions as possible and if you get something wrong find out why it is wrong and where you have gone wrong. Writing the reason behind the correct answer and the reason why your answer is incorrect helps as well, so when you attempt a similar question you will know how to approach it.

How did you find out about OpenTuition, and which of our resources did you use?
It was recommended to me by a friend. Mostly I use the lectures to clear my doubts. The mock exams and the question banks are really helpful too.
