Please could i have some advice on study approach. Im not afraid of hard work, and i put many hours into studying, and i am just passing exams, despite the hours. However i am always pushed for time to fully complete the exam kit and even attempt more than 1-2 mock exams, because I was watching the OT lectures and reading the BPP chapters in full which added too much input time not enough practice time left..
Therefore, this time i want to focus on the output(Exam kit etc) rather than too much input(study text).
Though i am feeling little over whelmed with the material I am have. I am using OT’s course( I am Reading notes, lectures , flash cards, and questions). I am using BPPs up to date study kit and exam kit( thank you for the discount !).
My plan currently for input is to follow the OT’s chapter ( Notes, lectures, etc), and only move on if I get a score of 70%+.
To which I will then move to BPP’s Study text relevant chapter(s) which I am not reading the chapter, but I am reading the “essential reading” related to that chapter. I am only completing the activity questions and further question practice for the chapter. I am then keeping track of these questions to revisit in 24 hours if I got them wrong/walked through the answer and 3 days if correct to allow for recall on earlier chapters.
I am completing all questions from the get go in timed conditions, which is helping keeping study session shorter and exam pressure practice.
I think this way I will complete study part in 4 weeks, exam kit 5 weeks and 2 weeks exam practice.
Is this a good study approach, any advice would be great.
