    Chapter 18 – is summary of all cases mentioned in the notes (And in lectures)

    You can fill the gaps when you after you listened to the lectures!
    In that way, you are not just a passive student, but can check if you actually remember something!

    I was watching a programme like watch dog about scams abroad. The presenter said, “under European law when buying goods e.g. video camera, you cannot return the goods when you’ve left the shop and discover the camera inside the box is a fake one, and not the one he shown as a sample.
    This conflicts with English law (sales of goods legislation) but the European court of justice binds all English courts, i’ve heard?
    I’ve probably got the wrong end of the stick.

    I’ve leant somebody money. Is this a contract? If it is I can’t think of any consideration my debtor has paid. Does this matter. If I took him to court what would the judge say. I’m jsut trying to understand these contract principals.
