ACCA Global pass rates for December 2011 vs OpenTuition members pass rates.
We have the results of our Instant Polls – December 2011 Exam results!
Please note these pass rates are not scientific, but based on the results submitted by OpenTuition members (instant polls).
We are comparing them with the real global ACCA pass rates, to give you some perspective.
Comparison of the ACCA global pass rates over the years and December 2011 ACCA OpenTuition members’ pass rates for each paper
*OTD11 – OpenTuition pass rates
*OTD11 – OpenTuition pass rates
past rates of polls should certainly be higher than acutal pass rates as people who failed are not likely to vote…
Hello
please i need any suggestions to how to pass P3 as 4th failure.
please help
@chouchou, Like any other P papers, P3 requires knowledge of business from the practical point of view. The questions with long case scenariors may be off putting, actually, the answers are contained within the scenarior, you just have to extrapolate them and link them to the appropriate business models.
The other considerations you must take into account are past papers. The scenarior may appear similar, but take note of the verbs used in the current exam (ie Discuss, advise, etc which is on a higher level as compared to what, how,etc questions on the lower level).
GOODLUCK and do not dispair.
hello everyone
i think students have post fake results on open tuition. I’ve took 2 paper in dec 2011 F5 and F4. and i have failed in F5!!!!Hey guys there is no sham of telling u have failed…at least pe frank
it’s only a poll, so do not have to take it so seriously 😉
Still, the difference throughout all the papers seems similar, which means, it maybe more accurate than you think 😉
@rukayya, Just because you failed, it doesn’t mean that others did.
hey everyone, do you think i can pass f7,f6 and f9 with open tuition alone. i dont like bpp and kaplan. my time is also verylimited, so opentuition is my only option do do 3 paper in such time constraints.
@evanuom, it depends on whether you’d rather take 3 papers and potentially get a lower pass rate (or even fail one or two) or take only 2 and be able to focus your studying time more, and have a better chance of passing with a decent mark. I would rather do the latter, but everyone feels differently about things so it’s your personal choice.
F6..can be depended on OT notes n lectures .kit will be soved then?
F7- From 9% in Dec 2010 to 66% in Dec 2011
I am an affiliate with AccA passing p6 this December 2011
I would like to say OT notes cover most parts well, but if you do not understand some part its better to use BPP or kaplan books.
well, we never claim opentuition notes are study text replacement, 🙂
and to benefit from the notes, everyone should watch video lectures, to get the most from the notes
What I can say is that I need salvation for the P7 paper. This was my 3rd failure. I need assistance on answering the questions here. Any suggestions?
@mazwi, P7 is about interpretation of accounts. If you can’t interprate the sets of accounts as given in an exam (which is very practical), then it will be very difficult for you to provide advice to management let alone in an exam. You also need to know the risks involved and identify them from the scenarior given. Ensure that you master P2, if possible, take them together. I hope you did justice to the paper in June 2012.
Goodluck.
fake results
@zahidmunir, pass rates are not scientific, but based on the results submitted by OpenTuition members in instant polls
and no further comment
@kaimbi.no, you have to study from ACCA’s aproved text provider like BBP.as OT notes are for extra aid for you.
P1 passed. 53%. Happy with this, was expecting worse since i ran out out time & din’t finish some parts of section 2 of exam
Hi Guys ,can anyone advice if they think open tuition course notes are sufficient to pass exams without having to get BPP text books.
@kaimbi, ITS BEST TRUST ME , I GOT 65 IN P3, i dont know how. but opentuition is best
