Turn a score into progress

How to use an ACCA mock exam effectively

The value is not just the final percentage. A useful mock shows where marks, confidence and time were lost.

  1. Prepare

Finish broad syllabus coverage first. Choose the correct paper and, for LW, the correct variant.

  2. Sit it properly

Use a quiet space, realistic time limit and no notes. Record any question you guessed or skipped.

  3. Review

Check every error, including answers that were correct by luck. Separate knowledge gaps from exam-technique problems.

  4. Repair

Return to the relevant OpenTuition notes, lectures and short practice tests. Write a small list of weak areas.

  5. Retest

Attempt fresh questions under time pressure, then complete an official ACCA practice exam in the CBE environment.

Quick answers

ACCA mock-exam FAQs

Are OpenTuition ACCA mock exams free?

Yes. Every revision mock linked on this page is free to open and attempt on OpenTuition.

Which ACCA mock exams are available?

OpenTuition currently has revision mocks for BT, MA, FA, LW English, LW Global, PM, FR, AA and FM. LW has two pages because you must choose the correct law variant.

Are these official ACCA mock exams?

No. They are OpenTuition revision mocks. Use them alongside ACCA's official Practice Platform, current syllabus, examiner guidance and technical resources.

When should I take an ACCA mock exam?

Take a longer mock after you have covered most of the syllabus and completed shorter topic tests. Leave enough revision time afterward to repair the weaknesses it reveals.

Should I take more than one mock?

Yes where possible. Use the first attempt diagnostically, revise the weak areas, then complete a fresh timed practice exam to check whether performance and time management improve.

Can I take an ACCA mock on a phone?

The pages can open on mobile, but a laptop or desktop gives a more useful exam-style experience for longer timed practice.
