   For someone writing F6 the South African Income Tax please lets share the exam approach, otherwise the paper is nolonger meat. I have been teaching this paper since 2005 and do not hesitate to contact me, then u wil make it- swaziland

   Freinds,I am writing P1 and have had others prevous attempts but could not offer me even a 50 marks. your advise being sought is how should i answer these questions. I mean what constitutes a passing answer for P1 ? help

   Hey johnmoffat..i had done my CA from the ICAI India...now i want to do ACCA..from Bahrain...When i checked for my exemption..it was showing that i have to give f5,f7,f9..three paper..but my friend said that i don't have to give the skill paper..i can directly give the professional paper..
   help me out this issue...

    I'm FYA student.. today i did my f3 exam nd i failed.. . i want to do standard entry to sit for dec exams ( f4 f5 f6 ). as per my info deadline for standard entry is 8th October... but my institution ppl said i cant do standard entry because it takes 1 week for process the payment system.. i don't want to do late entry becox its too costy.... CAN ANYONE PLX HELP???

    Guys, i am finding big problems reconciling the job and the exams. I am working in a mining company and i normally pay for exams i don't write. I have been absent for many exams. can anyone help with some advice as to the way forward?

    Does standard or late fees apply on CBE exams too? Or we can sit with normal fees before ending the year?

    @babruk, No - for CBE you have to find the company that offers those exams in your country. They will tell you when you are able to take the exams, and how much they charge, but there is no late entry fee.

    I got exempted from f1-f4 and want to attempt 3 papers including f6. Which option is better: f5, f6, f7 or f5, f6, f8? If you have a better recommendation then please share. Please provide an explanation for any option supported.

    @frank91, There is a reason why ACCA papers are in a particular order, so that when taken in succession, you build your knowledge base so that you are better equipped to handle the higher papers. As you progress through your studies you will notice the inter-relationship between papers. For example in order to do
    F8 (Audit) it would help if you have just completed or are currently studying F7- Financial Reporting. ( so that you will have a solid foundation with topics such as Fixed assets, reveivables, sales, purchases etc........you get what I'm saying) I'm not saying that F8 can't be done prior to F7, because students have attempted it this way and passed, however you can increase your chances of passing if you have a really solid foundation. I've noticed you got exemptions, please note that you can choose the papers in any order as long as it's from the same module, all you have to do is put in the required study time combined with good exam technique and you will pass. Your choice will ultimately lie with you and what you think you can cope with..........Hope this helps

    @omar8361, f5,6,7 are both calculation and theory papers that need a lot of concentration unless you are not a working class. i suggest you take at least 3 papers i.e f4,5, 6 or f4,5,7

    I would like to know whether F4 will be exempted if i complete my B.COM Degree( BACHELOR OF COMMERCE). I attended for F4 exam on june2012, but i didnt pass. Am B.COM THIRD YEAR STUDENT.

    I wrote F2 and F3 in the last diet. I Passed F3 and failed F2 (scoring 46). i intend to write F2, F4,F5 and F6. Guys please i need an advice and Please what are my chances..Thanks

    @ibk1992, You will have to email the ACCA about the account number. (Although it is easier to pay by credit card if you have one)

    @ferdeen588, hi, I think that you'll find that the ACCA exam entry software will not allow you to enter two exams on the same day. This sounds like a good example of bad planning!

    @yvettesn, In the "good ol' days" when all the OT tutors did their exams, the schedule was 5 exams on 5 consecutive half days and, for some of us, there were no calculators allowed either.
    
    I suggest you stop complaining and get on with passing your exams without wishing for something which just isn't going to happen.

    Why not exam date start on second week as per Jun 2012? 1st week always rushing for month-end closing (part time student in acccounting jobs) , thus difficult to apply leave for sitting exam.

    No gap between f5,f6,f7,f8,f9. It is really painful for examinees. If possible change exam timetable.
