Guys I completed 2 reports this session and met lots of students who just wanted guidance. I didn’t got the point why are we so focused on topic 8.
The sad part is, no one have the slightest idea even to begin the project!
Topic 8 is a very complex topic and requires student to read a lot about the company, its industry, its competitor, its country etc.
My friends, please please please read the guidance OBU has issued for 2011/12.
You will get all you want there in really simple words.If you are still unsure, then ask questions but don’t ask for a prepared dish ready to eat. Do see your own strengths an weaknesses before selecting the topic.
Topic 8 is not the only topic that is offeredI attempted topic 8 twice and failed but I did this because information is easily available in shape of annual reports and primary data is not required.

thanks alot for advice,but the thing is , we are not left with much choice.
Is there any other topic that u can take if u do not have access to accounts of any company. If you can’t make any interviews, any tests based on some company, as u don’t have access to it’s data, if all u have is internet and books.
Is there any other topic that you can take and potentially score A in such circumstances?
