Experienced guyz well appreciatedYou appear to be in the fortunate position where you can choose a career from alternatives!
I suggest you try one or the other and see if it suits you and your temperament. You could even ask to work for no pay at one or the other and then the same in the second position.
That way you can make an informed decision.
I’m thinking of my very out-of-date knowledge of the UK job market where you would instead be asking “What do I have to do to get a job?”
