I do not know what preparation you have done for your previous attempts, but what I would suggest is the following: Download our free Study Guide for Paper F9. Watch all of my free lectures (with our free lectures notes in front of you) in chapter order. After each chapter, attempt our online short test of MCQ's. When you have been through everything then start practicing questions - it is practice at exam standard questions that is more important than anything. Our Study Guide lists the best questions to practice, but the more the better - best is to buy a Revision Kit from one of the ACCA approved publishers. Watch the free lectures working through a few of the past real exams. (All of our resources are linked from the main Paper F9 page). If you have any problems then ask in the Ask the Tutor Forum and I will try and help.

Best is to work through the free lecture notes (and the lectures that go with them) in chapter order (because some later chapters depend on knowledge from the earlier chapters).

thank you sir:)

You are welcome :-)

sir, will it enough to use your NOTES instead of book whether kaplan or bpp..? your notes are quite easy to understand as i have gone through 2 chapters of it.

??

Why the "??" ? You asked your first question in the middle of the night where I am, and I am certainly not going to sit in front of the computer 24 hours a day :-) We say that we will usually answer questions within 24 hours, and we do. Our free lecture notes are only notes to go with the lectures - not to be used on their own. If you watch our free lectures that do with the notes then you do not need to use a Study Text - our lectures explain and expand on the notes, and cover everything needed to be able to pass the exam well. If you are watching our lectures, then the only book that you really should get is a Revision Kit from one of the ACCA approved publishers, because they contain lots of exam-standard questions to practice on, and practice is vital.

Both revision kits are good (and the more questions you practice the better) :-)
Mmohammad10y ago#11
Definitely sir, thank you..:)

hello sir, i came up to know about the amendments in f9 syllabus in the following area's; Financial management environment 1:The nature and role of money market Investment appraisal 2:Specific investment decisions (lease or buy; asset replacement, capital rationing) Business finance 3:Finance for small- and medium-sized entities can you kindly provide some info regarding it, that what extra they have added?

It says in the syllabus that the examiner has clarified the syllabus, not that he has added anything. All he has done is worded the syllabus better. Those topics have always been in the syllabus and are covered in full in our lectures notes and lectures.

Yes - of course you can study using OpenTuition for F9. (As always though do buy a copy of a Revision Kit from one of the ACCA approved publishers because they contain lots of exam standard questions to practice, and practice is vital). The syllabus changes for September is minimal, but the format of the exam is changing - you can find a specimen exam on the ACCA website.
