    Hey Mike,
    Sorry to bother you.

    Could you explain the difference between the wordings used in the QP like Explain, Discuss , Describe , Evaluate , Illustrate,Define etc.

    Which ones of these should be answered with numbers and which ones should be answered as just theory..

    Evaluate literally means “put a value on” and certainly involves numbers

    “Explain”, “Discuss” and “Illustrate” could all involve using numbers to explain or illustrate a point that you are trying to make

    Mind you, so could “Describe”!

    But “Define” is clearly just words

    Maybe the best I can suggest is to review the answers to past exam questions on interpretation and commenting on financial performance and financial position
