While calculating d1; if Pa is 409800 and Pe is 600,000 how come In(409800/600,000) gives the answer -.0381 and also how to calculate e-rt if r is .04 ant t is 4 the answer gives 0.852 how to do that .I am using casio scientific calculator. This is from Bpp course notes chapter 6 example 2.
You press “Ln” on your calculator and then ( 409,800/600,000) it gives you -0.381.
e -rt you hit e on your calculator then ^ (-r*t)
to calculate d1 you also need s, where is the s?
@ June 1987, thank you so much for help.I did find the first no but that e-rt after hitting e I cannot see that top arrow button. And is this e and ln button same I suppose. Thanks
