In relation to the UN Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods, which of the following atements is true?
1.It cannot be applied if one party to a contract is located in a state which has not signed it
2 Courtres can opt out of specific sections or articles if they choose to do so
3. is binding in all countries that are members of the United Nations
Is 2 the answer
I believe that it’s 2
The Convention could be applied even if one country were not a signatory if the other party in that country voluntarily accepted it so the statement in option 1 is incorrect
Option 3 is not correct – any country COULD opt out of the Convention
OK?
Thank u so much sir
