    Hello,

Can you please tell me how gains/loss on translation are treated in statement of cash flows.

Also in lectures, There is a translation Gain/loss on investment in subsidary (We take it to W5 for Position Statement) If that goes through profit and loss (from parent’s column) do we add that loss back in statement of cash flows?

    Hi,

Yes, any exchange gains/losses are non cash items and are adjusted accordingly.

    Thanks
