    yes that's pretty much what the chapter boils down to, i suggest you go through the study texts by kaplan and bpp and the notes provided by opentuition

    Use the current book. There are only trivial syllabus changes.

    You can prepare from these notes a lectures PROVIDED you also buy a revision kit/question bank that contains lots of obmective test questions so that you get lots of practice. Question practice is essential.

    Hi Sir, Thank you for the free lectures! I really enjoyed the way you thought it, it was really enjoyable and knowledgeable, not only for the exam but also for other world affairs that I now understand better for example inflation etc. . Last week I passed the exam and started MA.
    When I learnt the first chapter I got such a shook! I had a couple of questions on the FBT exam which I had no idea where they appear from, it wasn’t in the syllabus of FBT, but when I started the FMA in the first chapter here they where! ACCURATE and date vs information.
    Why wasn’t it in the FBT syllabus?

    The notes and lectures provide a good basis for your studies. Obviously they are a set of notes and not a text book so very succinct.

    However as well as studying from the notes or a text book, it is VITAL that you have lots of question practice and so we recommend that you buy a BPP Revision Kit to work through.

    Having a degree, even if not business-related, will allow you to start ACCA at the applied knowledge level, so you can begin BT. However, degrees are awarded in many countries and by many institutions and you should check with ACCA that your degree is recognised by them. Almost certainly it will be.

    Mr Moffat is a great lecturer. Using the OpenTuition resources and the BPP revision kit I've got 89 in FA, and 86 in MA first time passes.

    I'll now do BT and that's the first 3 done, I'm enjoying the journey with OpenTuition!

    I used BPP text and kit along with Kaplan Kit and ofcourse the opentuition notes which really helped in summarising and revision

    This site is actually regarding ACCA exams whereas MA1 FA1 MA2 & FA2 are AFD level exams which are basically for strong basics of non commerce students but are not actual part of ACCA exams. It starts from F1(FMA).I hope it helps you to understand

    It is also good to read the ACCA technical articles.

    Exam kits are available from BPP or Kaplan (you get a 20% discount if you buy BPP books through this site.

    BT exams are all objective test based and questions in each exam are drawn from a very large bank of questions. These questions are not released so there are no recent mock exams.
