    Sir i just listened to your lecture on MIRR. I wanted to know cannt we use the same way to find the present value.like for 3839 cant we do like 3829×1.1275^-4. Like to use the formula on top of discount table the discountcrate is 12.75% but in book its done complete the other way. Thanks.

    There are two ways of calculating MIRR – both of which give the same result.

    The examiner shows both ways in his answer. You can use either way – it does not matter which.
