I’ve listened to all the OT lectures and followed through notes (not memorised, just followed, so not 100% confident yet!).
I have now moved over and looked at the ACCA ‘study guide’ and started to write answers to each subject point mentioned, treating each point as a question.
This i feel is going to take longer than I thought, for example I’m now doing 1.e (i) duties of directors and functions of the board (including setting a responsible ‘tone’ from the top and being accountable for the performance and impacts of the organisation).
I have been on the above for the last three hours pulling my hair out… As i’ve wrote out page 7 (duties of directors) from OT notes, AND then more from page 30 of OT notes too (statutory duties of directors).
Then the functions of the board?? I’m assuming this will be chapter 3 ‘the board of directors??Maybe im making it more difficult than it is, but functions of the board I cant seem to answer this as its confusing me how much to write on this?? To me it seems if i start writing ill be including page 21 listed enitity requirements, sub divisions, structure, function if neds is in notes but not ‘function of the board’
Just seems im not getting to the point and writing too much rubbish…
Work full time and travel, will have a look at this again with a fresh head tomorrow, but its building a bit of pressure on me now
