I am currently using tonysurridge study text for F1 module. not sure about its quality, but seems I am in the minority where most of the people are using bpp or kaplan. I also notice that there are some GTG customers. Wonder which publisher offers the best quality, or in other words, the most appropriate study text for ACCA?

    Hello Yvon417,

Well, the best way is to study from official ACCA publishers, because official texts are checked by ACCA representatives and thus you can be at least sure that the syllabus will be covered by those text books.

The list of official publishers you can find at the end of Syllabus/Study guide for each ACCA paper. This list is increasing with time. However , for many years Kaplan and BPP remain ACCA approved publishers.

So i believe that could be an answer to your question, ACCA approved publishers are the most appropriate study providers for ACCA.

And my personal small advice – it’s better to use study text of more then one publisher , cos each of them has it’s advantages and disadvantages.

Good luck with your studies 🙂

Hi ansi, nice to meet you here. Your answer is helpful. Thank you. I found the only two official publishers of ACCA study text from the ACCAGLOBAL are kaplan and BPP. So far I have not taken any exam yet. Is tony’s textbook not on the list? Seems I need some kaplan book as well.

Hey Yvon417, nice to meet you too 🙂 and you are welcome .

I’m not sure about Tony Surrige texts, maybe they are good , but indeed, they are never mentioned as approved texts.. Maybe they will be in the future, but at least not now.

So to make your life free of those useless worries, i believe u should get study text of official publisher like kaplan or bpp .

hi I had GTG revision kits for F5and7? and found it is not in comparison with Kaplan and Bpp. Not sure about F1 but certainly won’t recommend.

For self-studying F1, Bpp is good enough. I like Bpp except F4 kaplan is better.
