Dear Mike,
I find the answer strange, it includes a revaluation figure, but there is no mention of revaluation in the question.
Please clarify how the answer was gained?
I am really struggling with tax questions.

Candy, I had a bit of a problem with these – they are all lifted from past exam questions and sometimes I have omitted to give you full information. However, there are 15 (?) of these tax mini exercises so there should be enough for you to get your teeth into

As for struggling with these tax mini exercises, look through this thread. You’ll soon come across one of my answers that sets out step by step the process that you need to adopt to collect the 3, 4 or sometimes 5 marks that are available for correctly calculating the tax figures
