    Dear sir,

    1. SWOT analysis
For example, huge cash surplus is one feature in a case scenario.
    My answer
    – Strength – Cash is power for a company
    – Weakness – Huge cash surplus means the incompetent of management
    – Opportunity – The company can use the cash to invest in its opportunity

Will I get full mark if I answer like this? Is that I am giving the same point and earn no mark?

    2. If the case just mention government support one particular industry.
Can I write my assumption that a company may benefit from the government tax incentive?
(Note: the case did not mention any tax incentive would be given)

    Will my assumption earn mark?

    Please advise.

I would just have cash as a strength. Management is not necessarily incompetent and might be waiting for right opportunity. Cash is not an opportunity – what it might be invested in is an opportunity.

Tax incentive – probably OK, but don’t assume more than you need to.

Dear sir, how many lines I need to write for a question like evaluate the strength and weakness for example for a particular entity? I have always been running out of time in exams. P7 and P6 were example and now am going for P3. Thanks
