I want to start studying for the F4 Global exam but I’m having a hard time deciding whether to rely only on OT lectures and notes or read the BPP study text instead.

This will be my second ACCA exam. I did F8 now in the September session and I only used OT notes and BPP Revision Kit, but since I’ve worked for 5 years in audit I was familiar with many concepts.

Are OT lectures and notes (plus BPP Revision Kit) enough to pass for LW Global?

How can you work in audit for 5 years and then do the audit paper? I don’t get it.. Don’t you need to have a qualification to start with to work as an auditor?

kmorocza, in many countries and geographical areas, it is not necessary to have any specific qualifications to work in the area of audit. This is very different from having the power to be a qualified auditor or have the power to sign off company accounts etc.. Hope this helps.
