Sir I am getting confused with the term stores.
In a question goods returned to stores has increased the closing inventory..How?
And what is a store requisition form is it same like purchase requisition form?
And what is meant by materials returned to stores from production requires a goods returned note ?
Does it mean that returning back to supplier?
I just can't get my head around the term store..Is it within our business or is it supplier?

5y ago#1Stores is in our business and is where material will be kept until needed for production (like storage).
So a stories requisition is where the factory is asking for material from the stores. If the factory returns material to the stores then the inventory in the stores will increase.
