Sir I am getting confused with the term stores.
In a question goods returned to stores has increased the closing inventory..How?And what is a store requisition form is it same like purchase requisition form?
And what is meant by materials returned to stores from production requires a goods returned note ?
Does it mean that returning back to supplier?I just can’t get my head around the term store..Is it within our business or is it supplier?
Stores is in our business and is where material will be kept until needed for production (like storage).
So a stories requisition is where the factory is asking for material from the stores. If the factory returns material to the stores then the inventory in the stores will increase.
