In starfish question of december 11

In examiner answer they calculate credit sales 2000×96%x20%=384

However in bpp practise kit they calculate it

    Credit sales discount taken up
    2000×96%x60%x20%=230

+ credit sales discount not taken up
    2000×40%x20%=160

    =390

    1/ whats the correct calculation?

2/ why they use 60% customer paid it should not be taken right??

    Plz clarify my misunderstanding

    Waiting for ur reply thanks.

You must NOT use the past exams from the ACCA website as these have not been updated for changes in legislation that have occurred since then, so many parts of answers are now wrong. Use only your BPP kit for the relevant Finance Act for your exam sitting
