A hotel has 60 bedrooms. Total accomadation costs in a 30 day period were $13,608. The bedroom occupancy rate was 70%
what was the accommodation cost per occupied room per night(round to two decimal places)?
Ps: this question was really get me confuse on it… and I was hoping sir will help me solve it and make me more clear on this type of question!
You need to divide the cost by the number of occupied room nights.
On average there are 70% x 60 = 42 occupied rooms each night. There are 30 nights in the period. So the number of occupied room nights is 42 x 30.
