In an organization, the HR staff and the accountants kept arguing on who was smarter – the HR guys or the accountants? One day while they were all at the top of a sky scraper, the building caught fire and they had to be rescued with the aid of a helicopter. The helicopter was already full so the pilot threw down the ropes so they could hang on till they landed to safety. As soon as the helicopter started to fly off, it became over-burdened and could not work properly. The HR guys told the accountants to drop off since they were less important people. Then one accountant spoke and said, "OK. We will drop off. We, accountants always work late, work long to meet targets and we are not paid overtime, we don’t get bonus. We are always considerate of others so we will just jump off."

At that point, the HR guys were moved to tears and started to clap for the accountants. (You can guess what happened here. They were holding onto the helicopter’s ropes and started to clap. Off course they fell and the accountants landed safely)

    Morale: Don’t underestimate accountants’ smartness
