Hello,
My SBL paper expires in September 2020.
I will sit for my last two papers in coming september.
Can you please tell me when will my SBL expire? Will I have the time till my september results to be released in october to see if I passed all the papers or it will expire in sept and I will have to give it in december?Please help.

Students will have seven years to pass the exams at Professional level (P1, P2 and P3 and two of the options paper P4-P7). If a student does not pass all the Professional level exams within seven years, they will lose any passes that were achieved more than seven years ago and will need to retake. The seven year time limit starts when a student passes their first Professional level exam.
I am not sure how your SBL can expire when this exam was only introduced in 2018. If you have any concerns you should contact ACCA – they can always make concessions to rules in mitigating circumstances.

My P1 and P3 were converted in to SBL.I understand this rule. What I need to know is will I get the time till exam results are out and I pass all the exams or as september approaches my SBL will expire?
It doesn’t make sense to me that it would expire while you are waiting on results. Since there’s nothing to be done about it either accept that it is what it is or contact ACCA. … that’s what they’re there for 🙂
If you do not pass your last 2 papers by September, then your SBL will expire and you will have to retake it at any exam sitting from December.
I have the same problem. My SBL (P1&P3) which i have already passed will expire in September. I have one option paper(ATX) left which I am hoping to pass in September, fingers crossed. Best of luck to you ?Thank you tubenyi. I got it.
