The exam was tough but doable: i got variant 2 btw:

What questions my #ACCA #APM students got

Variant 1:
• Target costing calculation and discussion of economic viability
• Changes to a bonus scheme: assessing managers’ comments on performance measures and rewards.
• KPIs and sustainability.
• Performance report analysis.
• Data silos, data analytics and data warehouses.

Variant 2:
Q1. Balanced scorecard and budgeting
• Benefits of the BSC for a manufacturing company.
• Assessing comments about the BSC, identifying problems and suggesting improvements.
• Updating and commenting on a rolling budget.
• Assessing comments about different types of budget and recommending a suitable approach.
Q2. Performance reporting and data visualisation
• Assessing whether a performance report was fit for purpose, excluding comments on its layout.
• Selecting and justifying suitable charts to show revenue over the year and revenue per metre for each store.
Q3. 5S and data
• Applying three of the five elements of 5S.
• Descriptive analytics / a data-related requirement

The exam was hard for me. I got variant one. I wrote anything i could think of. And i pray my best was good enough. :(.

I got variant 2. Exam was doable but I needed more time to develop my answers, so I’m not confident at all.

It was a disaster for me. I feel like is so much to know and learn and then when the exam comes it boils down three to four areas. I am so tired of this APM paper; this is my third try at it. At this stage, I would take a 50 and be sooooo happy with it.
