    Hi there

I’m revising ahead of my PM exam and noticed the Kaplan exam pack contains Section C questions for ABC, Lifecycle costing etc. The syllabus guide states section C questions wouldn’t include specialist costing techniques (section A) so I’m a bit confused? Can you clarify which is accurate.

    Many thanks

The syllabus is correct, and costing techniques are examined in Sections A and B, so I don’t know why Kaplan has done this (I only have the BPP Revision Kit, not the Kaplan Exam Kit).

However, it is still worthwhile doing those questions just to check that you really understand ABC.

Sir as Environmental Management Accounting is also part of Section A of the PM Syllabus, it wouldn’t be tested in Section C of the exam.? Because on the note in the Lecture videos it was written it could form a 8 mark question.

Although unlikely, it could actually be part of a Section C question because it is not really a costing technique given that there are no calculations required.

(And I am not sure why you are concerned anyway since you still have to be able to answer questions on it even if only in Sections A and B 🙂 )
