For part b) of this question, I calculated the material price planning variance to be $2800000 adverse, material price operational variance to be 1575000 adverse, material usage planning variance to be 800000 adverse and material usage operational variance to be 2800000 favourable.
Whereas in the book they have been given as 2800, 800, 1575, 2800.
Why am I getting this difference in zeros
Is my answer also correct or is it wrong

5y ago#1I would guess that your difference is due to the fact that there are 1,000 grams in 1 kilogram.
So your answer is wrong (but it would only lose you 1 mark).
