sir am somehow struggling to understand the difference between sales quantity variance and sales volume variance. Could you please help me distinguish between them?

5y ago#1The sales volume variance compares actual sales with budget sales (just as for basic variances).
It is then analysed into sales quantity variance, which compares actual total sales at standard mix with budget sales, and sales mix variance with compares actual sales with actual sales at standard mix.
