Sir is it right to just use the TOWS matrix for the suitability analysis of a strategy or is it recommended to also use other confusing techniques mentioned by BPP in addition, i.e. lifecycle/portfolio matrix by A D Little, business profile analysis, strategic screening?

TOWS (or SWOT) can be regarded either as a stand alone tool or as a summary sheet for the findings of other models. For example, PESTEL feeds into O and T, lifecycle analysis feeds into S and W.

FOR suitability, acceptability and feasibility, TOWS is fine but you might want to show off a little by, for example saying, a strategy is not suitable because all the company;s products are rather old and will soon be in decline.
