role of senior financial advisor

Hi Sir
I am also reading the book alongside your lectures(anything to pass the exam).
What i want to ask is, that out of the 500 pages in bpp book, the first 150 are on section A of the syllabus, role of the financial advisor. What i want to know is how important is this theoretical bit as compared to the calculations-? because if it’s just as important, I’m going to read all of it.
