    Dear
    I am going to sit for the f8 June 2014. And I halfway through the books already but using the one published on 2012. If I try to read the textbook and download the OT lecture notes to cover the chapter that changed. Is it enough for me to pass?

    That should be fine – there haven’t been many changes since 2012. More important than reading the text book, at this stage attempting questions is vital. If you need to, go to the text book if necessary to explain what the answer in the question is saying.
