General ACCARemoval from register

YYusuf3y ago
Good day I want to take a break from ACCA for a while. I've completed FIA and passed LW. If I'm removed from the register will this erase all my progress? I plan to re register in the future, but I don't want to lose my progress. I also don't want to pay subscription fees for a few years and I won't even be writing exams.

Your progress will not be erased. To resign you membership, you should contact ACCA directly https://www.accaglobal.com/gb/en/footer-toolbar/contact-us.html I recommend this rather than be removed from the register through some default (since any default will remain in ACCA's records). See here for information about what you have to do/pay to reinstate membership at a later date https://www.accaglobal.com/gb/en/member/membership/register.html (depending on the reason why you are no longer a member). You might also want to consider implications of a career break for PER: https://www.accaglobal.com/gb/en/student/practical-experience-per/36-months-practical-experience.html
